Eugenie Bouchard, born on February 25, 1994, is a Canadian former professional tennis player who has transitioned into a career in pickleball. She made history at the 2014 Wimbledon Championships by becoming the first Canadian to reach the final of a major singles tournament, where she finished as the runner-up to Petra Kvitová. Bouchard's remarkable journey in tennis also saw her reach the semifinals of both the 2014 Australian Open and the 2014 French Open.

Before her professional success, Bouchard showcased her talent by winning the 2012 Wimbledon girls' title as a junior. Her impressive performance on the WTA Tour earned her the title of WTA Newcomer of the Year in 2013. The following year, she was recognized as the WTA Most Improved Player, achieving a career-high ranking of world No. 5, making her the first Canadian to break into the top five in singles.

In addition to her on-court achievements, Bouchard gained recognition off the court as well. She was ranked No. 10 and No. 9 in Forbes’ World's Highest-Paid Female Athletes list in 2017 and 2018, respectively, earning six point two million dollars in 2017 and seven point one million dollars in 2018.
