Eva Lund

Eva Lund, born on May first, nineteen seventy-one, in Stockholm, Sweden, is a distinguished curler who has made significant contributions to the sport. Standing at five feet seven inches and weighing one hundred forty-six pounds, she has been a formidable presence on the ice. Currently residing in Upplands Väsby, Stockholm, she shares her life with her husband, Stefan Lund, who is the Swedish national curling coach, and their two children, Adam and Anna.

Throughout her illustrious career, Eva played third for Anette Norberg's team, achieving remarkable success on the international stage. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, having triumphed at the Winter Games in Turin in two thousand six and Vancouver in two thousand ten. Her accolades extend to the World Championships, where she secured gold medals in two thousand five and two thousand six, along with a silver in two thousand one and a bronze in two thousand three.

In addition to her Olympic and World Championship successes, Eva has also excelled in the European Championships, winning gold in two thousand one, two thousand three, two thousand four, two thousand five, and two thousand seven, with an earlier gold as a reserve in nineteen ninety-three.
