Eva Mozes Kor, born on January thirty-first, nineteen thirty-five, was a remarkable Romanian-born American who survived the horrors of the Holocaust. Alongside her twin sister Miriam, she endured inhumane experiments conducted by the notorious Nazi physician Josef Mengele at the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II.
