Eva Sršen

Eva Sršen, born in 1951, is a celebrated Slovenian singer who made her mark in the vibrant world of Yugoslav pop music during the early 1970s. Her journey to fame began when she won the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1970, a pivotal moment that showcased her talent on an international stage.

At the Eurovision Song Contest held in Amsterdam that year, Eva performed her memorable song "Pridi, dala ti bom cvet" ("Come, I'll Give You a Flower"), securing an impressive eleventh place. The single resonated with audiences, achieving significant sales in Yugoslavia, further solidified by her follow-up hit, "Ljubi ljubi, ljubi" ("My dear loves, loves").

In 1974, Eva returned to the Eurovision selection, this time with the song "Lepa ljubezen," where she placed ninth out of twelve entries. Despite her promising start and notable contributions to the music scene, Eva gradually stepped back from the industry in the mid-1970s. However, she continues to perform occasionally in Slovenia, keeping her musical spirit alive.
