Evan McMullin

Evan McMullin, born on April 2, 1976, is an American politician and former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer. His career in the CIA spanned from 2001 to 2010, after which he transitioned into the private sector, earning an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 and working as an investment banker for approximately one and a half years.

In the realm of politics, McMullin served as a senior adviser on national security issues for the House Committee on Foreign Affairs from 2013 to 2015. He then took on the role of chief policy director for the House Republican Conference in the U.S. House of Representatives from January 2015 until July 2016. His political journey took a significant turn when he left the Republican Party in 2016, following Donald Trump's emergence as the presumptive presidential nominee.

McMullin made headlines when he ran as an independent candidate in the 2016 United States presidential election, supported by the organization Better for America. He garnered attention from the
