Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Evans Paul

Evans Paul, born on November twenty-fifth, nineteen fifty-five, is a prominent Haitian politician and journalist, widely recognized for his impactful contributions to the political landscape of Haiti. Known affectionately as Compère Plume or K-Plume, he first gained public attention as a radio host, where he showcased his talents on programs like 'Plume' on Radio Caraïbes from nineteen seventy-four to nineteen seventy-six and 'Konbit Pitit Kay' on Radio Cacique from nineteen seventy-seven to nineteen eighty.

His political career took off when he was elected mayor of Port-au-Prince during the pivotal nineteen ninety elections, which saw Jean-Bertrand Aristide's National Front for Change and Democracy party rise to power. Paul played a crucial role as a campaign manager during Aristide's successful campaign, further solidifying his influence in Haitian politics.

In two thousand six, he made an ambitious bid for the presidency under the Democratic Alliance Party but was unsuccessful. However, his political journey continued to evolve, and on December twenty-fifth, two thousand fourteen, he was appointed as Haiti's prime minister by President Michel Martelly. Paul served in this capacity until February second, two thousand sixteen, when he resigned, although he remained in office temporarily due to an agreement until a new prime minister could be appointed.
