Fabian Delph

Fabian Delph, born on November 21, 1989, is an English former professional footballer renowned for his versatility as a central midfielder and left-back. His football journey began at Bradford City, where he joined the youth academy in 2000. At the age of eleven, he made a significant move to Leeds United, where he showcased his talent by playing 45 matches in League One and making a single appearance in the Championship.

In August 2009, Delph's career took a pivotal turn when he transferred to Premier League club Aston Villa for a fee of six million pounds. His time at Villa was marked by a successful start to the 2012–13 Premier League season, which led manager Paul Lambert to advocate for his inclusion in the England national team. Delph briefly returned to Leeds on loan in 2012, further solidifying his connection to the club.

In July 2015, Delph made another significant move, joining Manchester City for eight million pounds. His tenure at City was fruitful, and in 2019, he transitioned to Everton, where he spent three seasons before announcing his retirement from football in September 2022.

On the international stage, Delph represented England from 2014 to 2019, having previously played for the under-19 and under-21 teams. He made his senior debut at the age of 24 and went on to earn twenty caps, including participation in the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia.
