Fabrizio Mobrici, widely recognized by his stage name Fabrizio Moro, was born on April 9, 1975. This Italian singer-songwriter has made a significant mark in the music industry since his debut album release in 2000. However, it was in 2007 that he truly captured the public's attention by winning the Newcomers' Section of the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival with his poignant entry, 'Pensa'. This song not only topped the charts in Italy but also led to his album of the same name being certified gold by the Italian Music Industry Federation.
Over the years, Moro has expanded his artistic repertoire, releasing a total of nine studio albums, an extended play, and a live album by 2020. His contributions to music extend beyond his own work; he has penned songs for various artists, including the pop rock band Stadio and the pop singer Noemi, showcasing his versatility as a composer.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Moro ventured into television, presenting the docu-reality series 'Sbarre' on Rai 2 in 2011. His talent was further recognized when he teamed up with Ermal Meta to win the Sanremo Music Festival in 2018 with their powerful duet 'Non mi avete fatto niente'. This victory propelled them to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, where they achieved an impressive fifth place overall.
