Fat Joe

Born on August 19, 1970, Fat Joe emerged as a prominent figure in the hip hop scene, initially gaining recognition with his debut single "Flow Joe". This track not only entered the Billboard Hot 100 but also topped the Hot Rap Songs chart, setting the stage for his solo career.

In 1993, he released his debut studio album, Represent, which laid the groundwork for his future successes. By the late 1990s, Fat Joe had formed the hip hop group Terror Squad and established its namesake record label, signing notable New York artists such as Big Pun, Remy Ma, and Tony Sunshine, as well as then-unknown producers DJ Khaled and Cool & Dre.

His discography includes several acclaimed albums, such as Jealous One's Envy in 1995, Don Cartagena in 1998, and Jealous Ones Still Envy (J.O.S.E.) in 2001. The latter achieved platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America and featured the hit single "What's Luv?" with Ja Rule and Ashanti, which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. His 2004 single "Lean Back" with Terror Squad became his most commercially successful release, reaching the top of the charts.

In addition to his music career, Fat Joe has ventured into acting, appearing in films like Scary Movie 3 and Happy Feet, as well as Spike Lee's Netflix series She's Gotta Have It. His influence in the music industry continues to resonate, with hits like "Make It Rain" featuring Lil Wayne and "All the Way Up" with Remy Ma, showcasing his enduring appeal.
