Federico Gatti, born on June twenty-four, nineteen ninety-eight, is an accomplished Italian professional footballer who currently plays as a centre-back for Serie A club Juventus and the Italy national team.
Gatti's football journey began in his youth, where he honed his skills at clubs such as Chieri, Torino, and Alessandria. His senior career took off in February two thousand fifteen when he joined the Promozione team Pavarolo, helping them achieve promotion to Eccellenza in the following season.
In mid-two thousand sixteen, Gatti made a brief move to Saluzzo but returned to Pavarolo six months later. It was during his time at Pavarolo that he transitioned from a midfielder to a defender, a change that would define his career. In two thousand eighteen, he joined Verbania, contributing to their Eccellenza title win and subsequent promotion to Serie D in the two thousand eighteen-nineteen season.
Gatti made his professional debut with Serie C side Pro Patria before moving to Serie B with Frosinone the following year. In January two thousand twenty-two, he signed with Juventus, who loaned him back to Frosinone until the end of that season. Despite not representing Italy at youth levels, Gatti earned his first senior cap in two thousand twenty-two and was later selected for the UEFA Euro twenty twenty-four final squad.
