Fei-Fei Li

Fei-Fei Li, born on July 3, 1976, is a prominent Chinese-born American computer scientist renowned for her groundbreaking work in artificial intelligence and computer vision. She is best known for establishing ImageNet, a pivotal dataset that catalyzed significant advancements in computer vision during the 2010s. Currently, she serves as a professor of computer science at Stanford University, where her research spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and cognitive neuroscience.

In addition to her academic role, Li is a co-director of the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence and the Stanford Vision and Learning Lab. Her leadership experience includes serving as Chief Scientist of AI/ML at Google Cloud and directing the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory from 2013 to 2018.
