Fereydoon Abbasi, born on July eleventh, nineteen fifty-eight, was a prominent Iranian physicist and politician. He made significant contributions to the field of nuclear physics and served as the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran from two thousand eleven to two thousand thirteen. His expertise in nuclear engineering was complemented by his role as a university teacher, where he inspired many students in the sciences.

As a principlist, Abbasi was actively involved in Iranian politics, serving in the Iranian Parliament. His political career was marked by a commitment to the principles of the Islamic Republic, and he was known for his strong stance on national security and energy independence.
