Fidel Pagés

Fidel Pagés, born on January twenty-sixth, eighteen eighty-six, was a distinguished Spanish military surgeon whose contributions to medicine have left a lasting impact. He is best known for pioneering the technique of epidural anesthesia, which he referred to as metameric anesthesia. This innovative approach revolutionized pain management in surgical procedures.
