Filipe Luís

Filipe Luís, born on August 9, 1985, is a distinguished Brazilian football manager and former professional player, renowned for his role as a left back. His career is marked by a tireless work ethic and exceptional tactical awareness, which have made him a standout figure in the world of football.

Filipe's professional journey began in Spain, where he spent four seasons at Deportivo. In 2010, he made a significant move to Atlético Madrid, where he contributed to the team's success by winning four major trophies, including the La Liga championship in 2014. His career took him to Chelsea in July of the same year for a transfer fee of fifteen point eight million pounds, where he played a pivotal role in securing both the Premier League and the League Cup. However, limited playing time led him back to Atlético Madrid a year later, where he added the Europa League and Super Cup to his accolades in 2018.

In pursuit of new challenges, Filipe Luís joined Flamengo as a free agent, where he continued to shine, winning multiple honors including the Campeonato Brasileiro in 2019 and 2020, as well as the Copa Libertadores in 2019 and 2022.
