Filippo Pozzato

Filippo Pozzato, born on September tenth, nineteen eighty-one, is a distinguished Italian former road racing cyclist who made his mark in the professional cycling world from two thousand to two thousand eighteen. Throughout his career, he rode for several prominent teams, including Mapei–Quick-Step, Fassa Bortolo, Quick-Step–Innergetic, Liquigas, Team Katusha, Lampre–Merida, and had two notable stints with the Farnese Vini–Selle Italia/Wilier Triestina–Selle Italia teams.

Recognized as a specialist in the northern classics, Pozzato achieved remarkable success in prestigious races. He secured second place in both the two thousand nine Paris–Roubaix and the two thousand twelve Tour of Flanders, showcasing his prowess in challenging conditions. His career highlights include a total of thirty-seven Monument classics, with a notable victory in the two thousand six Milan–San Remo, where he also finished second in two thousand eight.
