Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012

In 2012, Finland made its mark in the Eurovision Song Contest with the captivating song "När jag blundar," a creation of the talented Jonas Karlsson. The song was performed by the gifted artist Pernilla Karlsson, who brought her unique flair to the competition.

The journey to Eurovision began with the national final, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2012, organized by the Finnish broadcaster Yleisradio (Yle). This event featured thirteen entries competing across four performance shows, culminating in a final held on the twenty-fifth of February.
