Finnian of Clonard

Finnian of Clonard, also known as Finian, Fionán, or Fionnán in Irish, was a prominent figure in early Irish monasticism, born in the year four hundred seventy. He is best remembered for founding Clonard Abbey, located in what is now County Meath, Ireland. His contributions to the monastic tradition have left a lasting legacy in the region.
