Florence Piron

Florence Piron, born on June sixth, nineteen sixty-six, was a distinguished French-born Canadian anthropologist and ethicist. She held the esteemed position of full professor in the Department of Communication and Information at Laval University, where she dedicated her career to the exploration of knowledge dissemination and ethical practices in academia.

Throughout her professional journey, Piron was a passionate advocate for open access to knowledge.
