France Saint-Louis, born on October seventeenth, nineteen fifty-eight, is a distinguished Canadian ice hockey coach and retired player. With nearly a decade of experience as a member of the Canadian women's national ice hockey team, she has made significant contributions to the sport, including winning gold medals at five IIHF Women's World Championships.
Her remarkable career also includes a silver medal at the inaugural women's ice hockey tournament during the nineteen ninety-eight Winter Olympics. After an illustrious playing career, she retired from the Canadian Olympic Program at the age of forty to pursue her passion for coaching by launching her own hockey school.
From two thousand eight to two thousand sixteen, France served as a consultant for the Montreal Carabins women's ice hockey program, further solidifying her legacy in the sport. Currently, she imparts her knowledge and expertise as a teacher at the Cégep du Vieux Montréal.
