Francis Jeffers, born on January twenty-fifth, nineteen eighty-one, is a distinguished English football coach and former player, currently serving as the assistant manager of Macclesfield FC. His football journey began at his boyhood club, Everton, where he made a remarkable debut at the tender age of sixteen in nineteen ninety-seven. Over the course of his time at Everton, he netted twenty goals in sixty appearances, showcasing his potential as a forward.

In two thousand one, Jeffers made a significant move to Arsenal, furthering his career in the Premier League. His journey continued with a transfer to Charlton Athletic in two thousand four, where he spent two seasons, including a loan spell at Scottish giants Rangers. The following years saw him at Blackburn Rovers and Ipswich Town, before joining Sheffield Wednesday in two thousand seven, where he made sixty appearances over three seasons.

After leaving Sheffield Wednesday in two thousand ten, Jeffers ventured abroad, first to Newcastle Jets in Australia, then to Motherwell in Scotland, and back to Newcastle Jets in two thousand eleven. His career took him to Malta with Floriana before returning to England to join Accrington Stanley, where he ultimately retired from professional football in two thousand thirteen.

On the international stage, Jeffers represented England at various youth levels, becoming the joint-top scorer for the U21 team with thirteen goals in sixteen appearances, a record he held until two thousand twenty. He made his senior debut in February two thousand three, scoring against Australia in his only cap for the national team.
