Francis Moreau

Francis Moreau, born on July twenty-first, nineteen sixty-five, is a distinguished former professional racing cyclist hailing from Saint-Quentin, France. He embarked on his professional cycling career in nineteen eighty-nine and dedicated over a decade to the sport, ultimately retiring at the close of the year two thousand.

Moreau specialized in pursuit cycling, where he showcased his exceptional talent by frequently medaling at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships. His crowning achievement came in nineteen ninety-one when he clinched the gold medal in the pursuit event. Additionally, he was a vital member of the French team that triumphed at the nineteen ninety-six Summer Olympics, setting a new Olympic record with an impressive time of four minutes and five point nine thirty seconds.
