Franciszek Smuda

Franciszek Smuda, born on June twenty-second, nineteen forty-eight, is a distinguished figure in the world of football, both as a player and a coach. His career as a player saw him represent various clubs across Poland, the United States, and Germany, showcasing his talent and dedication to the sport.

In nineteen eighty-three, Smuda transitioned into coaching, taking the helm at Widzew Łódź. His managerial prowess led him to notable positions at prominent clubs such as Wisła Kraków, Legia Warsaw, and Lech Poznań. Throughout his coaching career, he has celebrated significant success, including three Polish Ekstraklasa titles, solidifying his reputation in Polish football.

From two thousand nine until his resignation on June sixteenth, two thousand twelve, Smuda served as the manager of the Poland national team. His tenure included the challenging experience of leading the team through Euro 2012, where they faced elimination, ultimately prompting his departure from the role.
