Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of François Hesnault

François Hesnault, born on December thirtieth, nineteen fifty-six, is a former racing driver from France who made his mark in the world of motorsport. Coming from a wealthy family that owned a large transport business, he had the resources to pursue his passion for racing. His journey began in the French Formula Renault in nineteen eighty, where he quickly showcased his talent.

Hesnault's career progressed as he competed in the French Formula Three Championship, achieving notable success. In nineteen eighty-two, he finished third in the series, securing two race victories. The following year, he improved his performance, finishing second with five wins, narrowly missing the championship title by just two points to rival Michel Ferté.

In addition to his achievements in single-seaters, Hesnault participated in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans twice, in nineteen eighty-two and nineteen eighty-three. His Formula One debut came in the nineteen eighty-four season with Ligier, where he achieved a best result of seventh place at the Dutch Grand Prix.

For the nineteen eighty-five season, Hesnault joined Brabham as a teammate to Nelson Piquet. However, after four uncompetitive races, he was let go. He made a brief return at the German Grand Prix, where he drove a third Renault equipped with a prototype onboard camera, marking a significant technological milestone in the sport. Unfortunately, a severe crash during testing at Circuit Paul Ricard led to his retirement from racing.
