Adam King Feeney, born on September 12, 1983, is a distinguished Canadian songwriter and record producer, widely recognized by his former stage name, Frank Dukes. Over the course of his two-decade career, he has collaborated with a plethora of renowned artists, including Lorde on her critically acclaimed album Melodrama, as well as Camila Cabello, Post Malone, and The Weeknd.
In the early stages of his career, Feeney made a name for himself by producing tracks for members of Wu-Tang Clan and G-Unit, alongside emerging Toronto talents like BadBadNotGood. His rise to prominence in the 2010s was marked by his innovative compositions and beat-making skills, which were frequently sampled by other prominent producers. Notably, his work has been featured in major hits by artists such as Drake, Travis Scott, Taylor Swift, and Kanye West, with many samples originating from the Kingsway Music Library, a popular sample library he has managed since two thousand eleven.
In recognition of his exceptional contributions to music, Dukes has been honored with the title of Songwriter of the Year by SOCAN on four occasions, in addition to receiving accolades from BMI, the Juno Awards, Variety, and Jaxsta. In two thousand twenty-one, he decided to retire the Frank Dukes moniker to embark on a new artistic journey as Ging, culminating in the release of his debut solo album, We're Here, My Dear, in two thousand twenty-two.
