Frank País

Frank País, born on December seventh, nineteen thirty-four, was a prominent Cuban revolutionary known for his unwavering commitment to the overthrow of General Fulgencio Batista's regime. As the urban coordinator of the 26th of July Movement, he played a pivotal role in organizing the urban underground movement that sought to challenge the oppressive government.

País was not only a politician but also a military personnel who collaborated closely with Fidel Castro's guerrilla forces. His strategic efforts were instrumental in coordinating activities that supported the revolutionaries operating in the Sierra Maestra mountains, showcasing his dedication to the cause of freedom and justice in Cuba.

Tragically, Frank País's life was cut short when he was killed by the Santiago police on July thirtieth, nineteen fifty-seven, in the streets of Santiago de Cuba. His legacy as a courageous leader and martyr for the Cuban revolution continues to inspire generations.
