Frans de Waal

Frans de Waal, born on October twenty-ninth, nineteen forty-eight, is a distinguished Dutch-American primatologist and ethologist renowned for his extensive research on primate social behavior. He held the esteemed position of Charles Howard Candler Professor of Primate Behavior in the Department of Psychology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to his academic role, he served as the director of the Living Links Center at the Emory National Primate Research Center.

Throughout his illustrious career, de Waal has authored numerous influential books, including the seminal works 'Chimpanzee Politics' published in nineteen eighty-two and 'Our Inner Ape' released in two thousand five.
