Frederick William Macbeth, Jr., born on December 26, 1909, was a notable Canadian sprinter whose athletic prowess was showcased on the international stage. Competing primarily in the 400 meters, he represented Canada at the 1928 Summer Olympics, where he faced fierce competition and, despite his efforts, did not advance to the final round.
