Frédérik Gauthier

Frédérik Gauthier, born on April twenty-six, nineteen ninety-five, is a talented Canadian professional ice hockey centre currently playing for HC Ajoie in the National League. Hailing from Quebec, Gauthier's journey in ice hockey began in local minor programs, where he initially aimed for a collegiate career. However, his path took a pivotal turn when he was selected by the Rimouski Océanic in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

In the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, Gauthier was chosen by the Toronto Maple Leafs as the twenty-first overall pick in the first round. His time with the Océanic was marked by significant achievements, including competing for Team Canada in various international tournaments. Notably, he earned a gold medal at the 2013 IIHF World U18 Championships and the 2015 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.
