Fritz Jean

Fritz Alphonse Jean, born in nineteen fifty-six, is a prominent Haitian economist, politician, writer, and university teacher. His extensive career in public service includes notable positions such as the prime minister of Haiti in two thousand sixteen and the governor of the Banque de la République d'Haïti from nineteen ninety-eight to two thousand one. His leadership skills were further recognized when he served as the third chairman of the Transitional Presidential Council of Haiti from March to August two thousand twenty-five.

In addition to his governmental roles, Fritz has been an influential figure in the business community. Since two thousand twelve, he has held the position of president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Professions of Nord-Est. His commitment to national heritage is evident through his involvement in the national commemoration committee for the one hundredth anniversary of the United States occupation of Haiti.

Fritz's political journey took a significant turn when he was elected by the Montana Consensus as the head of the provisional president of Haiti on January thirtieth, two thousand twenty-two. His contributions to the economic and political landscape of Haiti continue to shape the nation's future.
