Frode Estil

Frode Estil, born on May thirty-first, nineteen seventy-two, is a distinguished retired Norwegian cross-country skier. Residing in Meråker Municipality, he shares his life with his wife Grete, whom he married in the summer of two thousand one. Together, they are proud parents to two sons, Bernhard, born in August two thousand two, and Konrad.

Estil is renowned for his expertise in classical skiing, excelling particularly in World Championships and Olympic events. His competitive spirit and dedication led him to achieve remarkable success, including an individual Olympic Gold medal and an individual World Championship gold. While he secured four World Cup race victories, his true prowess shone through in team events.

In addition to his individual accolades, Estil contributed to his team's triumphs, winning three team events at the World Championships and another team gold at the Olympics. His legacy in the sport is marked by his strategic approach and consistent performance, making him a respected figure in the world of cross-country skiing.
