Fusajiro Yamauchi

Fusajirō Yamauchi, originally named Fusajirō Fukui, was born on November 22, 1859, in Kyoto, Japan. He is best known as the visionary entrepreneur who founded Yamauchi Nintendo, a company that would eventually evolve into the globally recognized Nintendo. His entrepreneurial spirit and innovative ideas laid the groundwork for what would become a cornerstone of the gaming industry.

Throughout his life, Yamauchi was not only dedicated to his business but also to his family. He was married and had two daughters, one of whom, Tei Yamauchi, would go on to marry Sekiryō Kaneda. Kaneda succeeded Yamauchi as the second president of Nintendo, ensuring that the family legacy continued within the company.
