Fyodor Okhlopkov

Fyodor Okhlopkov, born on March second, nineteen oh eight, was a distinguished Soviet sniper during World War II, renowned for his exceptional marksmanship and tactical prowess. With a staggering record of four hundred twenty-nine confirmed kills, he earned a reputation as one of the deadliest snipers in military history.

In nineteen forty-four, Okhlopkov was nominated for the prestigious title of Hero of the Soviet Union after achieving his first four hundred twenty sniper kills. However, for reasons that remain unclear, this nomination was not granted at the time. It wasn't until May nineteen sixty-five, over two decades later, that he was belatedly awarded the title, coinciding with the anniversary of Victory Day.

Throughout his service, Okhlopkov's contributions to the Soviet war effort were invaluable, and his legacy continues to be celebrated as a symbol of skill and bravery in the face of adversity.
