He made history in 2007 by becoming the first and only Hungarian to clinch a road racing World Championship title, securing the coveted 125cc World Champion title.

Beyond his championship accolades, Talmácsi's passion for racing runs in the family, as he has a younger brother, Gergő, who also pursues a career in motorcycle racing. However, Talmácsi's racing journey faced a significant challenge in 2013 when he suffered a leg injury, leading to his retirement from professional racing.

Following his retirement, Talmácsi transitioned into a managerial role by establishing his own racing team, Talmácsi Racing. The team competed in the European Superstock 600 Championship, showcasing their skills with Honda CBR600RR motorcycles until the series concluded at the end of 2015.
