Born on October fourteenth, two thousand four, in Osasco, he began his journey in competitive kart racing at the tender age of seven. His early dedication paid off as he clinched multiple national titles, paving the way for his transition to junior formulae in two thousand twenty.

Under the mentorship of two-time World Drivers' Champion Fernando Alonso, Bortoleto quickly established himself as a formidable competitor. He achieved race victories in both Italian F4 and Formula Regional European, culminating in a remarkable triumph at the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Trident, where he secured his first championship title.

In two thousand twenty-four, Bortoleto advanced to FIA Formula 2, where he made history by winning the championship in his rookie season, becoming the seventh driver ever to achieve this feat. Notably, during the Monza feature race, he became the first driver to win from the last position on the grid in either Formula 2 or Formula One.
