Gabriele Amorth

Gabriele Amorth, born on May first, nineteen twenty-five, was a distinguished Italian Catholic priest, writer, theologian, and exorcist. He served the Diocese of Rome and was a member of the Paulines, a religious order known for its commitment to the media and evangelization.

Amorth's profound interest in demonology and the practice of exorcism led him to co-found the International Association of Exorcists alongside five other priests. His dedication to this often-misunderstood field garnered him international acclaim, making him a notable figure within the Catholic Church.

Throughout his extensive career, Amorth claimed to have conducted tens of thousands of exorcisms, with estimates reaching at least sixty thousand. This remarkable number positioned him as one of the most prominent and, at times, controversial figures in contemporary Catholicism.
