Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Gabriele Reinsch

Gabriele Reinsch, born on September twenty-third, nineteen sixty-three, is a distinguished German track and field athlete who made her mark representing East Germany in the 1988 Olympic Games, specializing in the discus throw.

Her athletic journey began at the tender age of fourteen, initially exploring the high jump and shot put. Reinsch showcased her talent early on, securing a second-place finish in the shot put at the 1981 junior European championships. However, in 1982, she made a pivotal switch to the discus, a decision that would define her career.

On July ninth, nineteen eighty-eight, during the East Germany–Italy tournament in Neubrandenburg, Reinsch achieved a remarkable feat by setting a new world record with a throw of seventy-six point eighty metres, surpassing the previous record by two point twenty-four metres. This record remains unbroken, despite the East German athlete Martina Hellmann's unofficial throws later that year.
