Gabrielle Carteris

Gabrielle Carteris, born on January second, nineteen sixty-one, is a prominent American actress and trade union leader, celebrated for her iconic portrayal of Andrea Zuckerman in the beloved television series Beverly Hills, 90210.

In two thousand twelve, Carteris took a significant step in her career by being elected as the executive vice president of SAG-AFTRA, the Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. This influential trade union represents a vast community of one hundred seventy thousand media professionals across the globe.

Following the unfortunate passing of the previous president, Ken Howard, on March twenty-third, two thousand sixteen, Carteris stepped into the role of acting president. Her leadership was solidified when, on April ninth, two thousand sixteen, she was elected as the SAG-AFTRA president by the national board to complete Howard's term.
