Gaël Kakuta

Gaël Kakuta, born on June twenty-first, nineteen ninety-one, is a professional footballer who currently plays as a winger for AEL in the Greek Super League. Originally hailing from France, he has chosen to represent the national team of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Kakuta's football journey began at RC Lens, where he developed his skills as a youth player. In two thousand seven, he made headlines with a controversial transfer to Chelsea. Despite the high expectations, his time at Chelsea was marked by limited opportunities, leading to a series of loan spells across six teams in five different countries.

After his contract with Chelsea expired in two thousand fifteen, Kakuta signed with Sevilla, marking a new chapter in his career. His international career began with France, where he represented the nation at various youth levels, from under-sixteen to under-twenty-one. However, in two thousand seventeen, he made the significant decision to switch his allegiance to the DR Congo national team.
