Gao Shun, born in the year two hundred, emerged as a formidable military leader during the tumultuous late Eastern Han dynasty of China. Serving under the warlord Lü Bu, he commanded a unit of seven hundred men, which earned the nickname 'camp crusher' due to their fearsome and destructive charges in battle.
Recognized as Lü Bu's most capable commander, Gao Shun achieved significant military victories, including the conquest of Peicheng. His strategic prowess was further demonstrated when he led his forces to triumph over a combined army led by the renowned generals Xiahou Dun and Liu Bei.
However, the tides of war shifted dramatically when Cao Cao laid siege to Lü Bu's stronghold in Xiapi. Despite Gao's valiant efforts, the siege culminated in the defeat and capture of Lü Bu. Tragically, Gao Shun met his end alongside his lord, marking a poignant conclusion to his military career.
