Garegin II

Garegin II, born on August twenty-first, nineteen fifty-one, serves as the Catholicos of All Armenians, a position he has held since nineteen ninety-nine. As the supreme head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, he plays a pivotal role in guiding the spiritual and administrative affairs of one of the world's oldest Christian communities.

In two thousand thirteen, Garegin II was unanimously elected as the Oriental Orthodox head of the World Council of Churches, a testament to his leadership and influence within the global Christian community. His term in this esteemed role lasted for eight years, further solidifying his commitment to ecumenical dialogue and cooperation among different Christian denominations.
