Gary T. Goodyear, born on March 10, 1958, is a notable Canadian politician and chiropractor who made significant contributions to the political landscape of Canada. He served as a member of the House of Commons from two thousand four to two thousand fifteen, representing the riding of Cambridge as a member of the Conservative Party.
In October two thousand eight, Goodyear was appointed Minister of State for Science and Technology in Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Cabinet, a role he embraced with dedication. His commitment to science and technology was recognized when he was re-elected in the May second elections of two thousand eleven, allowing him to continue his work in the same ministerial position.
However, his tenure came to an end when he was succeeded by Greg Rickford on July fifteenth, two thousand thirteen. Goodyear's political journey concluded with a defeat in the two thousand fifteen federal election, where he was unseated by Liberal candidate Bryan May.
