Gediminas Bagdonas

Gediminas Bagdonas, born on December twenty-sixth, nineteen eighty-five, is a distinguished Lithuanian former professional road racing cyclist. His professional career spanned from two thousand seven to two thousand nineteen, during which he showcased his talents with several teams, including Klaipeda–Splendid, Ulan, Team Piemonte, An Post–Sean Kelly, and AG2R La Mondiale.

Notably, Bagdonas was named in the start list for the prestigious 2015 Vuelta a España, marking a significant highlight in his cycling journey. His dedication and performance on the road earned him recognition in the competitive cycling community.

After retiring from professional cycling, Gediminas transitioned into a role as a directeur sportif, contributing his expertise to UCI Continental teams such as Kaunas Cycling Team and Voltas–Tartu 2024 by CCN. His passion for the sport continued to flourish as he took on the role of coach for the Lithuanian national track team in two thousand twenty-three.
