Geir Rönning

Geir Rönning, born on November fifth, nineteen sixty-two, is a talented Norwegian-Finnish singer-songwriter hailing from Ålesund. His musical journey began in the vibrant city of Oslo during the 1980s, where he laid the groundwork for his future career. Seeking broader horizons, he later relocated to Stockholm, Sweden, where he seized opportunities to further his passion for music.

In two thousand five, Rönning represented Finland in the prestigious Eurovision Song Contest, showcasing his unique artistry on an international stage. The following year, he returned to Norway with aspirations to compete in Eurovision once more, collaborating with Jorun Erdal on a joint song, though this attempt did not yield the desired results.

Rönning's determination shone through in two thousand ten when he made a notable comeback, once again vying to represent Finland in Eurovision. That same year, he participated in Swedish Idol 2010, impressively finishing in seventh place.
