Geneviève Lalonde

Geneviève Lalonde, born on September fifth, nineteen ninety-one, is a distinguished Canadian middle- and long-distance runner, renowned for her prowess in the 3000 metres steeplechase. Her athletic journey has been marked by significant achievements, including a gold medal victory at the 2019 Pan American Games, which stands as her most notable success to date.

In addition to her Pan American triumph, Lalonde showcased her talent on the international stage by securing a bronze medal for New Brunswick at the 2013 Jeux de la Francophonie held in Nice, France. That same year, she also clinched gold at the Canada Summer Games in Sherbrooke, Quebec, in the 2000 m steeplechase, further establishing her reputation as a formidable competitor.

On May eighteenth, twenty-nineteen, she further improved her national record with a time of nine minutes and twenty-nine seconds and eighty-two hundredths of a second at the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix.
