Geoff Nicholls

Geoff Nicholls, born on February twenty-ninth, nineteen forty-eight, was a talented English musician renowned for his skills as a guitarist and keyboardist. His musical journey began in the vibrant Birmingham scene of the 1960s and early 1970s, where he played lead guitar and keyboards for various local bands, including The Boll Weevils, The Seed, Johnny Neal and the Starliners, Bandy Legs, Jimmy Helms, and Willie Basse. He also showcased his keyboard talents with the band World of Oz.

In the late seventies, Nicholls became a significant figure in the heavy metal genre as a longtime member of the iconic band Black Sabbath. His contributions to the band spanned several years, culminating in his departure in two thousand four. During his tenure, he helped shape the sound of Black Sabbath, bringing his unique style and expertise to the forefront of their music.

Before joining Black Sabbath, Geoff was also a part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) band Quartz, further solidifying his reputation in the rock music community. His diverse experiences and collaborations with various artists have left an indelible mark on the music industry.
