Geoffrey Hinton

Geoffrey Hinton, born on December sixth, nineteen forty-seven, is a distinguished British-Canadian computer scientist and cognitive psychologist, renowned for his groundbreaking contributions to artificial intelligence. Often referred to as the 'Godfather of AI', Hinton has played a pivotal role in the development of artificial neural networks, which have transformed the landscape of machine learning.

As a University Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto, Hinton dedicated a significant portion of his career to academia while also working with Google Brain from two thousand thirteen until two thousand twenty-three.
