Geoffrey Kondogbia

Geoffrey Kondogbia, born on February 15, 1993, is a distinguished professional footballer currently captaining Ligue 1 club Marseille. Known primarily for his role as a defensive midfielder, he has also showcased his versatility by playing as a centre-back on occasion.

Kondogbia's football journey began at Lens, where he honed his skills before making a significant move to Sevilla at the age of nineteen. His career took a notable turn in 2013 when he was acquired by Monaco for twenty million euros, followed by a transfer to Inter Milan two years later for thirty-one million euros.

In 2017, he returned to Spain to join Valencia, where he celebrated victory in the Copa del Rey in 2019. The following year, he signed with Atlético Madrid, contributing to the team's triumph in La Liga during his inaugural season.

On the international stage, Kondogbia earned fifty-seven caps for France across various youth levels before debuting for the senior team in 2014. In August 2018, he switched his allegiance to the Central African Republic, making his official debut for their national team shortly thereafter.
