George Chow

George Chow, born on January first, nineteen fifty, is a prominent Canadian politician known for his significant contributions to the province of British Columbia. He made his mark in the political landscape when he was elected to the Legislative Assembly in the two thousand seventeen provincial election, representing the Vancouver-Fraserview riding.

A dedicated member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party (BC NDP), Chow has held various influential positions within the provincial government. He served as the Minister of State for Trade from two thousand seventeen to two thousand twenty-two, where he played a crucial role in enhancing trade relations and economic development.

In addition to his earlier roles, Chow was appointed Minister of Citizens' Services, a position he held from two thousand twenty-four to two thousand twenty-five, under the leadership of Premiers John Horgan and David Eby. His extensive experience in governance is complemented by his prior service as a Vancouver City Councillor, where he was elected twice as a member of the Vision Vancouver party in two thousand five and two thousand eight.
