George Fenton

George Richard Ian Howe Fenton, born on the nineteenth of October in nineteen forty-nine, is a distinguished English composer renowned for his exceptional contributions to film and television music. With a career spanning several decades, he has established himself as a leading figure in the industry, celebrated for his ability to evoke emotion through his scores.

Fenton's impressive accolades include five Academy Award nominations, alongside numerous Ivor Novello, BAFTA, Golden Globe, Emmy, and BMI Awards. His talent has also been recognized with a Classic BRIT, highlighting his versatility and impact on the music scene. Notably, he is one of only eighteen songwriters and composers honored as a Fellow of the Ivors Academy, formerly known as BASCA.
