George Hotz

George Francis Hotz, born on October 2, 1989, is a prominent American security hacker, entrepreneur, and software engineer. Known by his alias geohot, he gained fame for his groundbreaking work in developing iOS jailbreaks and reverse engineering the PlayStation 3, which led to a high-profile lawsuit from Sony.

Hotz's career took a significant turn when he founded comma.ai, a company focused on vehicle automation and machine learning. From September 2015 until November 2025, he dedicated his efforts to advancing this innovative technology, showcasing his commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the automotive industry.
